3D INDONESIAN STYLE

In 1995 D3 was in Jakarta, Indonesia for three months working with Multivision Plus, the leading television producer, shooting 12 half hour sitcom episodes in our Spatial Vision (Pulfrich) system.

In March of 2004 we returned for a four month period to produce more than 12 half hour children’s programs (see update at bottom) in our patented Natural Vision process.

The titles of the shows (so far) are:

BERBURU HARTA KARUN (Seeking Lost Treasure)
FORMULA AJAIB & PROFESSOR HANTU (Magic Potion & Ghost Professor)
TEMAN YANG HILANG (Lost Friend)
TUYUL MILLENIUM (Millennium Ghost)

There are 2 to 4 episodes of each title. Production on the last two episodes is to wrap in early December.

This is the first broadcast use of our new MKIII dual camera rig and we are proud to say it has stood up to some difficult shooting conditions. We feel these programs are the best examples of Natural Vision ever, and the Indonesian public seems to agree.

One half hour episode is broadcast each week on SCTV, Indonesia’s progressive television network. The premiere episode was broadcast 22 October.

3D glasses are available at the retail stores of Gramedia, Carrefour, Gunung Agung, Hero, Giant, Alfa, Starmart, Toys City, Guardian, Utama and Fuji Image Plaza. The sponsoring company is Sayap Mas.

D3 is proud to again make 3D history with this; the longest running REAL 3D broadcast series ever.

Jakarta-based Multivision Plus is a multimedia production organization headed by Raam Punjabi. Executive Producer of the series is Wicky Olindo.

18 DECEMBER UPDATE:

The series is so successful, two additional episodes are now in production.
